Chinese samosa;
ingredients:
Get ready Potato Filling:
Cooking oil 1 tbs
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Carom seeds ½ tsp
Ginger cleaved ½ tbs
Red chilli powder 1 tsp or to taste
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Salt ½ tsp or to taste
Chaat masala ½ tsp
Chicken powder 1 tsp
Garam masala powder ¼ tsp
Potatoes boiled 3-4 medium
Green chillies cleaved 3-4
New coriander cleaved 2 tbs
Mint leaves cleaved 2-3 tbs
Get ready Mixture:
Regular flour filtered 3 Cups
Salt ½ tbs or to taste
Ghee 3-4 tbs
Water 1 Cup or as required
Ghee 6-7 tbs
Regular flour 4 tbs
Cornflour 2 tbs
Cooking oil for mixing
procedure:
Get ready Potato Filling:
In a wok,add cooking oil,cumin seeds,carom seeds and blend well.
Add ginger and mix well.
Add chilli powder,turmeric powder,salt,chaat masala powder,chicken powder,garam masala powder and mix well.
Add potatoes and blend well,turn off the fire and squash well with the assistance of the masher.
Add green chillies,fresh coriander,mint leaves and blend well.
Allow it to cool.
Get ready Batter:
In a bowl,all-reason flour,salt and mix well.
Add ghee and blend well until it disintegrates.
Slowly add water and kneed until hard mixture is formed,cover and allowed it to rest for 20-30 minutes.
In a bowl,add ghee and whisk well.
Slowly add regular flour and whisk well.
Add cornflour and whisk well.Flour paste is prepared!
Roll dough until smooth (5-6 minutes) and gap into 7 pieces with the assistance of a shaper (80g each).
Take one piece and make a ball,dust dry flour and carry out with the assistance of moving pin.
Apply flour paste generously,dust dry flour and spread one more turned mixture over it,stack every one of the seven layers one over the other,apply flour glue and residue dry in the middle between.
Apply flour paste and residue dry flour over the top layer and carry out with assistance of rolling pin,fold around the moving pin then cut from the middle and carry out in rectangular shape with assistance of moving pin.
Apply flour glue and residue dry flour and rehash a similar cycle two additional times.
Cut the moved mixture in 12 squares bits of equivalent sizes (4 x 4").
Take one square piece,dust dry flour and carry out marginally with the assistance of moving pin.
Add 1 tbs of arranged potato filling in the center,apply water,fold the sides of the batter over the filling and delicately press the edges together to seal the enduring inner parts (makes 12).
In broiling pan,heat cooking oil and sear on low fire until brilliant brown and fresh and pour hot in the middle between.
Present with ketchup and green chutney!
